Homes >> Teach Furbo, Gaillimh.

Designed in a modern vernacular tradition, this house is “inverted”, with the primary living spaces and bedrooms on the first floor to capture the stunning views over Galway Bay.

“Pat paid keen attention to our brief but imagined a design that completely exceeded our expectations. The design is bold and creative, but sensitive to its location and environment and inspired by traditional forms. We love it!

Pat guided us from the design stage, through planning, tendering, and the build itself, with regular site meetings and discussions. His experience, professionalism and communication skills were invaluable to us throughout.

Now that we have lived in the house we can fully appreciate Pat’s vision, as subtleties in his design are revealed to us each day. We are so grateful for all his hard work and inspiration—Molann an obair an fear.”
